Pago de Arínzano 2004 newcomer to London

Bodegas Chivite launches the new vintage of wine Pago de Arinzano at Hotel Du Vin&Bistro in Tunbridge Wells  (London) on the October 30th, 2011 within the framework of the international wine tasting programme organized by the hotel.

 

   

 

Approximately 21 people, clients of our importer in UK, and Chivite wine lovers had the opportunity to discover the new vintage -2004- of the wine range, Pago de Arínzano. It was an interesting vertical tasting with the whole wine range: 2000, 2001, 2002 and 2004. The audience talked about its favourite one and differences between them.

 

Baluarte Verdejo 2010, a white, fresh and modern wine belonging to Designation of Origin Rueda, which received the Regional Trophy at Decanter World Wine Awards in May 2011, was in charge of welcoming the audience. Victor Amaro, Head Sommelier at Hotel Du Vin & Bistro approached the art of wonderful pairing wine and food.

 

We enjoyed a seasonally inspired tasting menu presented by Victor and perfectly paired with the selection of wines. Firstly, Baluarte Verdejo 2010, soon afterwards we tasted Colección 125 White 2007, fermented in French oak and belonging to D.O. Navarra. Next we enjoyed with vertical tasting of wine range, Pago del Señorío de Arínzano. And finally, we had fun with one of 20 Magnums of Colección 125 Latest Harvest 2006.
